First proper film

Tomorrow, I start directing Killer Sandwich for real. It's my first real production, with a real script, real locations, kinda real actors, in that they used to do drama.

I shot a bit of an action sequence on friday. I haven't had a chance to check the rushes since it was on a friend's DV camera after my Digital 8 went s.h.i.t.s up. I don't know how it looks, but it didn't seem like I was getting what I wanted. It didn't help that after we got police permission to run around with guns and stuff, college security f.u.c.k.e.d us over and told us to stop, so the scene is only half finished.

I've got a week over half term to shoot it. I've got to go to work in the evening. I'm tired, I'm skint and I'm fairly certain my f aeces shouldn't be this viscous.

Any advice?

Well, the first day didn't go too bad. Lines were fluffed, of course, but I've learnt a valuable lesson: Don't write the word plaigirism into dialogue to be spoken by me.

Tomorrow, we shoot the ending. Then for the rest of the week, everything in between.

I think it's called Earthquake. I downloaded it years ago but now I've lost it when I formatted the comp.

Incidentally, Killer Sandwich is now on hold. We've got half the film shot, more or less, just need a few pick ups.

We also nearly killed someone, so I felt the need for a temporary break until I have the courage to face my tutors again [img]tongue.gif[/img]

another quick question for untamed aggression (wich i think knows me 'cause i was the only assohole guest in his board).

is killer sandwich goin to be a feature film or a short film?

I reckon it'll be somewhere between 35 and 40 minutes...

Shooting probably isn't gonna resume for a while, I might even shoot some shorter stuff in the meantime. I'm considering writing some extra scenes.

I mean, i started asking my parents for a MiniDv about a year ago and just a few months ago i got it...
